imageMalaysia: KL-based Hospital Ampang advances care delivery with its latest deployment of GE Centricity® EHR

Hospital Ampang, a premier eight-storey 562-bed hospital, has gone live with its new GE Centricity® EHR, an automated system that archives patient information generated in a care delivery setting. In doing so, the hospital has completed a healthcare information technology (IT) loop that will not only allow generate greater cost-savings for the hospital in terms of time, labour and materials expenditure, but will also go a long way in aiding the hospital deliver efficient, advanced medical care to its patients.
Malaysia: Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) and Ipoh General Hospital Go Live with Centricity® Anesthesia

Hot on the heels of Sungai Buloh Hospital’s first ever Centricity® Anesthesia (CA) go-live in Asia are Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) and Ipoh General Hospital, which have started fully using their systems on June 9th 2008 and June 16th 2008 respectively. The two Malaysian hospitals are the first of 15 in a single MoH government contract to go live with Centricity® Anaesthesia.
Malaysia: Alor Setar Hospital upgrades to full Centricity® Cardiology

GE Healthcare IT has received an additional order from Solutions Protocol to upgrade Alor Setar Hospital PACS to a full Cardio Enterprise PACS. This is a 100% order just for Centricity® Cardiology and marks the first largest CVIT deal won in Southeast Asia. This is the 2nd hospital in Malaysia after Serdang hosp that are installed with GE Centricity CVIT solution.
