28 invited CIOs and Radiology Dept Directors from over 10 renowned hospitals in central China attended the GE Centricity® PACS Seminar in QingDao Medical University Affiliated No. 3 hospital on May 30th 2008. The highlight of the seminar was a best-practice sharing between PACS installed base and potential customers on Centricity® RIS/PACS CE solutions, emphasizing on advanced clinical capabilities and solution’s reliability.
GE Healthcare IT Seminar regarners positive feedback at the JAMI Conference

Over 250 customers participated in the GE Healthcare IT seminar at the Japan Association for Medical Informatics (JAMI) Spring Conference in Akita, Japan on May 30th 2008. Dr. Fujikawa from Hiroshima General Hospital and Dr. Kondo from Totori National University Hospital gave lectures on benefits delivered by GE Centricity® PACS and Centricity® CDS (Clinical Decision Support) solutions to positive customer feedback.
Japan ITEM show a great launching pad for Centricity® PACS-IW

Centricity® PACS-IW was recently launched at the Japan International Technical Exhibition of Medical Imaging (ITEM). Centricity PACS IW is a 100% web-based solution. The product launch has received great customer feedback on its userability and functionalities. Besides PACS IW, GE Healthcare IT also featured " I cube ", our newly developed radiologist reporting solution for Japan market, which is tightly integrated with Centricity PACS IW.

Successful Centricity® PACS-IW launch in Delhi, South Asia: 28th July 2008

Centricity® PACS-IW , Web-based Teleradiology solution launched in South Asia, Delhi on the 28th July 2008 at the Taj Mahal Hotel attended by > 100 people including Radiologists, Administrators ,CEOs, CIOs and NM faculty people from almost all the top of the line Hospitals & DICs attended this well received event. This launch provided a platform for GE Healthcare to showcase and demo our our latest Web-Based PACS alongside with our Key Partners: Barco's demo of their latest 6mp monitors as well as EMC 's Storage and archival solutions all in 1 single setting. .

We also had the rare honor to have the presence of Dr. Dinesh Kapoor from Apollo Group to share on the advantages of PACS, it's Viability and Savings reaped from Image Digitization.
